Odontamblyopus rebecca is a species of eel goby recently described from 37 specimens collected from a fish market in Haiphong, Vietnam. This long, slender fish (up to 140 mm standard length) can be distinguished from its congeners by the large number (40+) of rays in the pectoral fin and the absence of barbels on its chin.
